Christmas Fair – 2004

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to all those who supported the Christmas Fair last Saturday. We had a great time even though the weather was a little miserable. It is quite amazing that within our school we have so much hidden talent and that we can all work together to produce such an event that brings so much fun and enjoyment. I am pleased to advise that this year the money that we have raised £6000.nett A fantastic sum, exact amounts from each stall will be provided in the next few days.

On behalf of the Parents Association I would like to thank all the children who made the Christmas Bell decorations and for all the bottles, cakes, toys and books that they brought into school.

I have not been able to thank everyone personally and therefore my thanks to all those who helped with the setting up of the Fair, helped on stalls and refreshments, those who valiantly cleaned up afterwards ready for the OFSTED visit and last but not least the “ Christmas Fair sub-committee” Coralie, Dawn and especially Josie without their hard work and efforts over many weeks the Fair would not have been the success that it was.

Just a few reminders, if you still want a Christmas Pudd, there are a few left, if you still need to collect or indeed pay, then please see the office and the Prize winners will be on the Notice Boards and School Website.

Don’t forget to send you ticket requests to the school for the Christmas Discos, and if you are considering buying a Christmas tree for your home then why not contact the Good Lawning company to supply a superb tree with £2 coming to school funds, you can call 020 8660 2366.

Again my sincere thanks

David
