SUMMER FAYRE 2005

What a great day we had on Saturday at the Summer Fair, and I hope that there are not too many sore sunburned people!

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to all those who supported the Summer Fayre and I am pleased to say on behalf of the PA that we have raised just over £5,500. What a tremendous effort from all. This means that we can continue to support the school in many ways and bring that little bit extra to all the children from the Nursery right to Year 6.

The exact amounts from each stall and all prizewinners will be listed in the next few days on the School website and on Noticeboards.

A big thank you to all the children for the items that they brought into school over the last couple of weeks.

I have not been able to thank everyone personally and therefore my thanks to all those who assisted in whatever capacity without you the day would not have happened.

I would however like to express my personal thanks to all of the PA and in particular Summer Fair Sub Committee who have again worked for many weeks, no months planning the event, we all look forward to many more successful and enjoyable family occasions at Atwood.

One reminder to all Children that the Sponsored Walk on 28th June is to take place where all can participate and have fun with a medal and certificate for taking part. These funds are specifically for the new music room, which I am sure after the music displays that we saw on Saturday will be enhanced by more children enjoying the teaching of music at Atwood.

Many thanks again to all who support the PA events time and time again
